Moonshot AI has released Kimi K3, a powerful 2.8 trillion-parameter Mixture-of-Experts model with a 1-million-token context window and native multimodality. Already topping coding benchmarks (including beating Claude Fable 5 in frontend coding on Arena), it’s available now via the Kimi app and API, with full open weights dropping on July 27. Due to massive demand, new subscriptions are temporarily paused as they scale capacity. This marks a major step for open-weight frontier AI.
